What’s Happenin’ at the Watermen’s Museum
The Chesapeake boasts a unique and varied fleet of
workboats used in the harvesting of seafood. Models of
these boats are used to tell the watermen’s story and
history and are found throughout the museum. Many
are donated by local residents, such as the skipjack
Kathryn, built by Vincent Haddaway.
