Our annual fundraiser, Splendor, was a huge success this past Saturday. We were able to raise funds to support the
mission of the museum from ticket sales and auction items while also having a lot of fun together! THANK YOU to
everyone who attended on such a rainy night. I would also like to thank the TWM volunteers for their tireless
efforts planning, organizing, setting up, running, and cleaning up. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of our
donors who made so many beautiful items and wonderful services available for auction. As ever, a huge thank you
to Henry and the staff at Two If By Sea for preparing and serving such delicious food with such generosity and
grace. No event on Tilghman is complete without the support of our Talbot County Watermen’s Association who so
kindly donated the best oysters in the world – we are eternally grateful for their support of this event, which would
not happen without them. We are so thankful that the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company allowed us to host
Splendor in the firehall – thank you for your support!! We hope that, given this year’s success, we can hold the
event again next year! Thanks again to everyone for such a wonderful event!
